GT1 Drivers Champion	Michael Bartels Bartels won his second GT Championship after 2006, when he also won with Bertolini. This was the first time that a pair of drivers have repeated their win.

GT1 Teams Champion	Vitaphone Racing Team This was Vitaphone's fourth Team victory in a row - an absolute record in the Championship. Points were scored towards the title by Champions Bartels and Bertolini, as well as Miguel Ramos and Alexander Negrao.
GT2 Drivers Champion	Toni Vilander Toni Vilander claimed his second GT2 title in a row, remaining with AF Corse and the Ferrari 430 GT2, but this time with Italian driver Gianmaria Bruni. Bruni and Vilander finished in the top three at each round.. the first time this has happened since 1998
GT2 Drivers Champion	Gianmaria Bruni Gianmaria Bruni, who finished second in 2007 in his first season in GT racing, claimed the title in 2008 after an exceptional year with AF Corse and Toni Vilander.
GT2 Teams Champion	AF Corse This was AF Corse's third consecutive title, claimed in fine fashion after leading all season.
